Visitors yesterday made me realise how long it's been since I was last on the blog --- it was a lovely surprise to see Aud and Carol down from Huntly again --  their pics on last post in APRIL !!!

Followed later with a visit from Kath , who was on a mission for fabric , but cant say too much yet !!

Lot's of things been going on in the shop and lots of new fabric , my favourite at the moment is the

making the easter basket,

Yvonne shared with us today her vase of beautiful flowers

Have been busy in the shop ---

workshops and prep for

GJWTHF

this Saturday at the Papeterie

sneaky peak , thanks to Kath and her photo skills

and have been reorganising the shop , the workshop now in the "front room"

so to speak and all the fabric now concentrated in the rear, along with

Annie's fabulous chalk paint.

Lot's of new fabric has arrived -----

and a tour of the rear shop---

The workshop was spread with the kits for Saturday so no photo allowed !!!!

What's been going on ------

Scottie worshop mark two

Can you believe I'll be ordering the Christmas fabric on Tuesday !!!

Will be having a Christmas workshop each month starting in March,

so we get plenty of time to make our gifts and decorations.

Am doing a workshop Saturday with the local Brownies and Guides,

so the shop may open a little later on Saturday morning .

Sunday is the shaggy chenille cushion workshop,

which is full,

however am running it again the following Sunday 26th at 1pm,

A Little Diversion

Took time out today to finish the little shaggy quilt I started Tuesday afternoon

Been through the washer to complete the technique and left to dry overnight .

Also some new patterns instock .....

The last few months have flown since opening

Annie Sloan Paint workshop at the sew room ---

A super evening hosted and tutored by Moira (Rustiques )

who reminded me to take photos !!!!!

a comprehensive workshop covering lots  of

Annie's Paint Applications

It's so versatile and IS so easy to use !!!

And the finshed results are fantastic.

And I can confirm ----

it is really easy and quick to clean the brushes with water --lol!!!!

Another early finish .......

Todays cushion workshop ran well on time ,

so much so we too started an extra project ---

just as the girls did last Thursday...

Christmas hearts were the order of the day .

Kits for these will be available instore ----

along with pictures ---

sack the photographer ---

no cushions or hearts to be seen !!!!

just coffee and chatter when mission accomplished !

Having said that --

in the middle of the table are the Victorian Christmas Decorations.

Little Super Stars !!!

The workshop today with the girls was fabulous .

They all worked really well and finished ahead of time ---

so we started another project , making use of what they learned

Well done girls !!!
